I've had a request to post an exim contract job requirement to the list
[if someone is at all interested then contact Mr Gates who is on the cc
list of this mail]. However I am not happy with what is a technical
list being used for this - although "opening the floodgates" is likely
to result in a very small trickle I am not really happy about a
precedent being set here.
As an alternative, if there is any demand, then I'll be happy to set up
and host an exim-commercial list which would be intended to take any
commercial requests for exim support, service, consultancy etc.
[Obviously this list provision is not open ended... should it happen to
be too popular then I would want it to move elsewhere or somehow use it
to sponsor further exim development, support [ie website etc]].
Responses can be sent to me - and the reply-to on this mail is set
appropriately.
