Philip is (of course) correct, but I had a similar situation, where I
wanted to add a header with the envelope recipient addr and not depend
on To: or Cc: (or the unix user that got final delivery) because of a
procmail recipe I use for mail sorting. (It was getting horribly ugly and
I had to do somethin to simplify it). I added this line into the
system_aliases director:
headers_add = "X-Envelope-To: $local_part"
Might not address what you're looking to do, hopefully it does.
