I see. Your machine is issueing the ETRN command to some remote host
and you are concerned about receiving? In that case, you want incoming
e-mail to be queued since you want your dial-up line (are we talking
about that mail-at-home-issue?) to be used to its full bandwidth. If
you deliver immediately, you might have to wait for your local host to
actually deliver the e-mail. This might be an issue if you do
operations more complex than a simple deliver-to-mailbox.
