Does exim pass its environment on to programs it spawns, e.g. for a
pipe transport? If so, this may affect folks who (knowingly or
otherwise) depend on certain environment settings (e.g., PATH) in
spawned programs.
Not that such things ought to be depended on, but this may cause
unexpected or unexplained behavior, and i thought it bore mentioning.
