We're running IMP which is a WebMailer so
all mails composed with IMP will be sent
from apache.
IMP constructs the header with the specific
mail address in "From:" etc.
Only problem: Someone (I thought it was
IMP) added a "Sender: Daemon user for apache
<wwwrun@???>" so if I want to use IMP
to subcribe to a mailinglist the mailbot
want to subcribe wwwrun and not the real
account!
I then tracked it down, but IMP seems to
do the same as I do (for testing purposes)
