Subject: [Exim] host_accept_relay and non-matching reverse lookups
Hi!

I have host_accept_relay = /etc/exim/host_accept_relay
with that file containing a mixture of host names, networks
(10.0.0.0/24 for example) and native IPs (10.11.12.13 for example).

When I have an IP explicitly listed in the file, and the double
reverse lookup for this address doesn't work or doesn't match,
relaying is denied ("refused relay (host) ... (failed to find host
name from IP address) or (<IP> does not match any IP address for
hostname)".

Does exim have an option to allow relaying from IP addresses eplicitly
listed in a list even without working reverse DNS? This is necessary
in case of a customer moving over to us, their servers already at our
location, wishing to relay through us, but their old provider not yet
having updated DNS.

Greetings
Marc
