[Exim] majordomo / exim

I am having problems configuring exim to pipe to majordomo.. I ahve
configured majordomo correctly as anytime I send mail to the list from a
localhost user I get the information I want. If I send it externally. This
is the error in the msglog
2000-03-07 01:37:15 |/usr/lib/majordomo/wrapper majordomo
<majordomo@???>: majordomo_aliases director deferred:
pipe_transport unset in majordomo_aliases driver.

I have pipe transport set to address_pipe but its not working. Are there
any special directors or configuration that needs to be done to the address
pipe command to get it to work. The forbid_pipe command is not set. Any
help would be appreciated.
