I don't. I enable ignore_errmsg_errors_after, and I only did so
relatively recently. (There are 5,000 or so users on this system.)
It is not the default
(a) For historical compatibility.
(b) So that postmasters *know* if they are throwing away messages. I
think that a feature that throws away any messages whatsoever should not
happen without the postmaster explicitly enabling it.
