[Exim] TAN: POP3 daemon with mysql?

Has anyone (successfully) set up a pop3 daemon with mysql support. I
found Tani Hosokawa's qpopper patch, but I have not managed to get to it
work. The patch's instruvtions are not very straight forward, and I
cannot get it to compile! Can anyone help?
