[Exim] how to manage carrige return in option" text ="

hi,

i'v set up an autoreply transport with something like:

text = ${lookup mysql{select auto_txt from mail where
domain='${domain}' and username='${quote_mysql:$local_part}' and
is_auto='yes'}{$value}fail}

when i have carrige-returns in the columne 'auto_txt' i get an
error message:
in vacation_delivery transport contains non-printing characters

when i quote the expression i get one line whil "\n"'s at the end of line.


can someone give me a hint?
