I've got the same problem.

Could somebody give me a working example. I use a config file which is pretty much
the default one and set current_directory in the local_delivery transport, but it didn't
work:
local_delivery:
driver = appendfile
current_directory = /
file = /var/mail/${local_part}
delivery_date_add
envelope_to_add
return_path_add
I also tried with adding the line to the localuser director, but to no avail:
localuser:
driver = localuser
current_directory = /
transport = local_delivery
Did I miss something? For Frank Elsner it seemed to have solved the problem.
Thanks (from an Exim newbie, sorry)
