[Exim] using exim as a gateway

Hi,
I was wondering if exim could suppress some of the headers from the internal
server.
ie user sends mail to an internal server which then sends it to the gateway
server.
but the headers look like the user contacted the gateway server directly.
Is this possible with exim?
