Just a thank you letter for the absolutely seamless ease of getting new
Exim releases into production.
Was using 3.10 (no problems) but thought the 'bug fixes' (huh?)
warranted the update. Fetched, compiled with GCC 2.9.5.2 (SCO Open
Server 5.0.5, no warnings), did 'make install', reloaded Exim in the
middle of a normal weekday morning, nobody noticed (45+ users, 30-250 MB
mail per day).
Then I thought of the Saturday morning and afternoon it cost me to
replace BIND 8.1.2 with 8.2.2 patch 5 (CERT security warnings) on the
same machine, much sweating, reading and experimenting.
