I wrote a script some time ago (after staring with a very similar
line as Tabor has there :) to clean up exim queues of frozen messages.

ftp://ftp.cus.cam.ac.uk/pub/software/programs/exim/Contrib/scripts/multidelete

It's faster than a pipeline and you can match against the sender of
the message to be more particular about which frozen messages you
delete.
