Why would you want to use a Virus scanner on Linux? Are you running
Samba or another Windows emulation?
If you are, and only if you are, look at:
http://www.sophos.com/products/antivirus/savunix.html
It _won't_ scan for viri im mime attachments (like Mimesweeper does); it
_will_ come down on the user like a ton of bricks, if he/she tries to
decode one to a Windows directory on his/her own hard disk or a
networked hard disk. And Sophos's new-virus notification service is
downright fantastic.
If you aren't, I really wouldn't bother.
