We have our data and logs on separate mirrored partitions, and now use syslog
to maintain a copy of the logs on another machine.
In case we do lose the data partition, a script would be useful which behaves
much like eximon, and processes the log files and generates information on
all messages which were not `completed', listing the arrival time, sender,
and any undelivered recipients.
In particular, I'd like to try running it on `known data' to see how well
`syslog' logs actually do -- i.e. how many false positives it generates.
