[Exim] Slightly corrupt log message?

Noticed this in our logs today (Exim 3.03). The "/var/log/exim" bit on the end
looks like a bit of buffer corruption?

1999-11-18 07:34:45 refused relay (host_accept_relay) to
<tophat@???> from <bogus@???> H=(rebo.lancs.ac.uk)
[198.31.84.60]/var/log/exim
