Hi,
i'm testing the perdition pop3-proxy (found at freshmeat, homepage at
http://vergenet.net/linux/perdition/ ).
I use it to "split across multiple backend servers on a per user basis",
that means i have a file popmap with lines that look like these:
user1:pophost1:popport1
user2:pophost2:popport2
where pophostX is a hostname and popportX is the port on which the
pop3-daemon is listening.
Because the different pop-daemons are using different mailboxes (cyrus and
standard) i need different transports.
Is there a way to lookup in this popmap file for the host and port
information? Or should i create different files for each host/port combination?
I hope someone can help me.
