that those messages will not get lost when i do the reinstall ?

Unless you destroy the spool directory, reinstalling Exim will not lose
existing messages, frozen or otherwise.

If you are going to install something other than Exim, then you have to
consider each of those messages and decide what to do with it. Check the
msglog files to see why the message is frozen. Check the -M options for
the various things you can do to messages.
