Many thanks - this (nearly) works.
The hosts to exclude must come before any *.domainname,
otherwise the *.blah.com catches the hosts before they
can be ruled out, ie
> local_domains = "mail:mail.blah.com:blah.com:\
> !lsearch;/path/to/localunixhosts":*.blah.com:
Hopefully the "course" in September will answer all my other
silly questions!
