SuSE Linux 6.2 (glibc 2.1, Intel) and SuSE 6.1 (glibc 2.0) both need
crypt.h and -lcrypt. SuSE 5.3 (libc 5 based) does not need -lcrypt
(but crypt.h). Probably on all glibc 2.x systems libcrypt needs to be
linked.
Digital Unix 4.0 (True64 ?) does need unistd.h but no -lcrypt.
