"%" is an unfortunate choice, since it already means something
wewe%555@???
means send the mail to faxserver.mydomain.com, which should redeliver
the maail to
wewe@555
and the DNS failure is for the domain 555.
Look for percent_hack in the exim docs for some control over this "feature"
(it is controlled since can allow relaying).
Your best bet might be to choose a different character to separate
Name and PhoneNumber.
