I don't know about your FreeBSD box, but my FreeBSD box
:) shows as follows:

 7634  ??  S      0:00.74 /usr/local/sbin/exim -bd -q30m
 7688  ??  S      0:00.01 /usr/local/sbin/exim -bd -q30m
 7690  ??  S      0:00.01 /usr/local/sbin/exim -bd -q30m
27171  ??  Ss     0:02.07 /usr/local/sbin/exim -bd -q30m

Unfortunately I rm'ed sendmail, so I can't tell you what I
want to see, but exiwhat output seems ok to me (if each line
will be preceded by 'exim' for greping)
