On this same track, has anyone ever setup a pop-before-smtp that
records the username along with the ip address of a pop3 session which
enabled relay, and adds a header to any messages relayed from that ip
address that includes that username?

I plan on working on this tonight, but I'm just wondering if anyone
else did something like it...
