But the word "data" in this case is ambiguous when referring to
instances of a data type specifically called "datum" (hence the quotes
too, in HTML you would use a CODE tag).
(Exactly the same problem occurs in German when pluralizing "Datum"
which means "date" as in calendar, and the grammatically correct
"Daten" means "data".)
