-qf won't unfreeze automatically in release 3.00 onwards. You need -qff
for that.

I have auto_thaw set at 24h. This means that during the week when I'm
around, I notice frozen messages and can investigate, whereas at the
weekends or when I'm away, they don't hang around for ever cluttering up
the queue.
