Unfortunately, a bug in my conversion script meant that a chunk of text
got omitted from the Texinfo and HTML versions of the 3.00 documentation.
This was the last paragraph of chapter 8 (Regular expressions) and the
start of chapter 9 (String expansions), causing the two chapters to get
run together, and "String expansions" not to appear in menus and
contents.
I have now fixed the problem, and placed mended copies on the ftp site:
