Thanks to everyone for their reply. I was hoping this was already
implemented in Exim but I can certainly knock up a Perl script to do this
as suggested.
Now all I have do is see if I will be allowed to implement a reasonable
max_message_size and mailbox quotas.
Back to the main cause of our mail spool filling - users filling up the
mail spool becouse they have misconfigured their .forward files. Is there
any way that Exim can spot this and prevent this or do I just have to
deal with these situations as they arise?
