This question is from a collegue who uses EXIM but is not on maillist
Problem is as follows:
Eudora did work fine with ver 2 of Exim, but now hangs on SMTP
QUIT command as if the server has not dropped the connection.
Other mail clients work fine ( Pegasus etc ). In debug mode,
Eudora *claims* to be sending the QUIT\r\n but the server never
seems to drop the connection.
Any suggestions
