Is
1) technichally feasible and easy ;
2) Ethically acceptable ;
to have a system wide filter that senda back a canned message,
returning all and only the header of any message whose date
header is more than 45' in advance or behind the local system time
?
We receive either message from future, that is with people with
their machine set to a TimeZone west of the one for which the
clock is set, or that forget to send a message, after keeiping in
their queue. In this case would be a "remind".
These message often got "lost" since put on end of time-ordered
lists.
The filter should be enought smart to recognize delayed mail (That
is when the first server received within 45' or original time, and was
delayed enroute.
