Subject: [EXIM] exim and spamdb
Hi,

I have been trying to set up spamdb to work with exim on my Debian system.

The problem is that in the docs on my sytem there are two different syntaxes
for one of the two lines I have to add to exim.conf

One:
sender_reject = "dbm;/var/spamdb/spam.db

Two:
sender_reject = "dbm:/var/spamdb/spam.db

Which one is right?

Also:
Is it enough to have the above line (with correct syntax) +

sender_verify = true

to make this work?

I am newbie and would appreciate advice, and also if spamdb is the way to go to
fight some spam on a home use, dialup/smarthost, Linux box.

TIA
