Sorry for slight (very sligth) OT question:
I have 8 machines on a subnet that are not authorized to go
outside.
There is on same subnet a dual hosted machine that have the
SMTP IMAP and POP server, plus squid for HTTP and FTP ,beside
exporting home directories via NFS.
Now there is a number of users that must be able to access their
POP3 on a remote host.
Is there a pop 3 proxy ?
ideally if it receive a USER tizio@???
it should pass a
USER tizio
to the host remote.host.xx , while if it receive a plain username act
regularly on local mailboxes.
Before writing one i would be happy to know if there is one around
