Actually its not quite that black and white....
Howabout an ISP that allows you to signup instantly on-line with a
credit card. What verified information do they have about you?
[pretty much none]. They have someone's credit card number, they may
be able to connect the name and address to it.... but there is still
nothing there that holds up in a court case as "it was that man, M'Lud".
