I have now sorted this out. You were running a later version of texinfo,
and it did more checking. There are some strings in the text that are
specified as "small caps" by the texinfo sequence @sc{xxx}. In headings,
however, the conversion script turns them into actual caps. However, it
was neglecting to do this in the menu items that pointed to those
sections. This will be fixed in the next release.
