I'm new on this list and also no great expert in linux, currently
running sendmail-8.8.7 on RedHat-5.2 updated to a week ago.
I have installed exim-2.12 and have it running but when I try to
pick up mail via fetchmail I get errors.
Before wasting anyones time, I reckon my configure file is broke.
Could someone let me know the exim configure equivalents of
sendmail.cf's Local Info? These are the only entries I made to get
sendmail running.

Perhaps I am a bit thick but I can't relate the two files even
after printing out all docs.
BTW this is just a single user intermittent dialup system
