[EXIM] lsearch-star feature

I'm having trouble getting lsearch* to work on version 1.73, as in

# Director for supported virtual domains

virtual:
  domains = lsearch;/usr/local/exim/etc/domains,
  driver  = aliasfile,
  no_more ;
  file    = /usr/local/exim/etc/aliases-$domain,
  search_type = lsearch*
--------------------

The error is:

1999-03-23 00:06:12 Exim configuration error
"partial" or "*" not permitted here (line 237)


Could anyone kindly tell me if the feature has appeared since 1.73? Is it
just a question of upgrading?
