Hmm. That was precisely the thing I noticed wasn't mentioned in the
manual, and I went away and checked it. The domain *can* be an
independent regex. I'd better check again... Well, I've just tried
precisely that rule, and used exim -brw to check it. It appears to work
for me. I also tried mailing to that address, and it got rewritten.

Can you give me more details of how it fails for you?
