Hello fellow exim users. I have discussed exim a bit, trying to spread
the word amongst sendmail:ers :> I ran into a question I couldn't find an
answer for in the documentation on the website though, and I suppose exim
uses a different term for it, envelope masquerading. The idea is to
masquerade the from: line from other relaying hosts to rewrite it.
example:
d@??? uses mail.foo.com. d.foo.com wants to have exim
(mail.foo.com) rewrite its fromline to d@???. Is this
possible?
Also, is there a possibility to change the from: line depending on user,
ie user b's mail address would seem to be b@??? and d's d@????
TIA,
Dominique L. Bouix (d@???)
