One alternate solution: Tell the customer to reconfigure Exchange to send
ETRN #kpu.com instead of ETRN @kpu.com. However, the ability to send
arbitrary ETRN strings to a mailhost only appeared in Exchange 5.0 SP 1. If
they're using an older Exchange, this may help:
smtp_etrn_command = /path/to/exim/binary/exim -Rf $domain
