[EXIM] Wishlist item?

Hello.

I have a small wishlist item for Exim...
Would it be at all possible to implement the functionality
of denying a net by using a "!" instead of "*except_nets"
all the time?

Being a news admin^Wbastard a "!" or a "@" strikes me as
being slightly more intuitive and shorter.

Has this been discussed before?
Is this thinkable?
