Yes, it's very hard to make it work. Sometimes inbox assistant does not do
the job, it was said to assist on. No aliases, no any kind of filtering
mail. You can limit senders by hosts, and there's possibility, to limit
mailsizes. Thats all. I vahe to use it, because our database server
(MSSQL) sends reports by SQL-MAIL, which of course can send email only
through MS-EXCHANGE server :(, or it can send it to another host too, but
in this case the client must be started on the sql-host, and must be
running, or it just collects mail, does not send it, and when klient
started mail would go out, but `xinetd` disables port 25 "possible mail
flood" Of course msexch. server forwards anything to internal MTA (exim)
internal MTA forwards everything to bastion. I would not let anyone
connect to an exchange server directly. I know it, and it's OS has ugly
bugs.

And at last, but not at least: if set something, and it's not, you will go
crazy until the problem is found. You'll have to buy licences, for server,
and for each klients, I think! You'll need a more powerful PC, than exim
would need for this job. Exchange eats memory, and disk.

That's all, I don't like it, but sometimes I have to administer..

Peter.
