That looks like this mail came to your machine by way of the bang
path. Your exim has identified the mail as being remote and is trying
to relay it to the MX for mercury.he.net (why is it doing so? Is your
relaying misconfigured?) while giving the bang path as a local part.
The remote host denies to accept that message because the bang path is
not a valid local part there.

I hope somebody will come up with a better explanation.
