Subject: [EXIM] Single host has multiple domain names
Dear exim users,

I'm no expert (but have read the doc!) and I wonder if you can help with
this...

I am using exim and it works fine. The host on which exim is running
(under RH Linux 5.1) is currently used to send and receive mail. I'm
also running DNS on another box and have a SOA of yyy.com. There is no
real problem with this.

The host that runs exim is known as aaa.bbb.yyy.com for historic
reasons. Some users would like to be known as xxx.yyy.com (a much nicer
address, I'm sure you'll agree). Now I can create a record in the DNS
database that points xxx.yyy.com to my machine, but of course exim does
not see it as the local host and attempts to exchange it with the
correct machine which of course it can't find.

So my question is; can I name a single host as having several "local"
addresses so that mail for dwaine@??? and dwaine@???
will be delivered to the same mailbox? I've read a section in the doc
on "aliases", and can't understand/make it work. Maybe I've got the
wrong option...

Any help welcome.
