I've tried the following entry in my exim config
sender_net_accept_relay = lsearch;/list/of/allowable.relays
where /list/of/allowable.relays contains
www.xxx.yyy.zzz/32:
www.xxx.yyy.zzz/32:
etc...
but this does not work.
I know that I can do
sender_net_accept_relay = /list/of/allowable.relays
but then the list is only read at startup, and what I'm trying to do
is implement a pop_before_smtp type thing so that my customers that
access their email from somewhere else besides my network will also be
able to relay from the same location if they have successfully
recieved mail from my pop3 server. Thus I need to somehow be able to
have a list that is searched if the user isn't coming from within my
local domains.
any and all comments on this would be appreciated.
