Apparently (according to the documentation), sometimes only the
sender_reject_recipients stops mailers.
I guess you can remove the sender_reject :)

Yeah, I noticed :) - I killed our mailer for about 3 hours when I appended
a "\n" to the end of the smtp_banner :)

Hmmm... I have yet to encounter that, but I'll keep that in mind :)
