this is the sort of thing I was thinking of doing. only I'd be doing it with
perl hacker on a static file which'd be updated by crontab...

it does sound pretty whizzy.

the only thing I'd be worried about is the intensive queue generation part of
it.

would your ExiMonDaemon also know what was in the retry and other databases,
so's you could flush specific domains and hosts?
