You can set different retry rules for different domains. There is an
example in the manual.

I know this is off topic, but could you specify which .hu sites? I deal
with some .hu sites very often and have noticed no problem. (I was also
the first postmaster at nytud.hu in 1990. We did used to have a problem
with our leased line from Matav (telecoms company) from our local site to
SzTAKI (computing and automation research institute) in that our
connection dropped out when it rained heavily enough. Once Matav lost
their monopoly for that sort of thing, they fixed things very fast.

Now there is an entirelly new backbone, iff.hu, which seems to do the job
well.

As for electricity, I have experienced more frequent and longer
unannounced power failures in western Bedfordshire than I have any other
place I've ever lived.

Sorry for the digression, and I hope that any discussion about the
digression itself occurs OFF the list.
