I've been pondering[1]
As to why an aliasfile entry which was working a dream suddenly
starting barfing after an upgrade to 2.05
--[ aliasfile ]--
* :fail: Nothing here, move along
--[ aliasfile ]--
Used to work a dream but suddenly started tossing the following out.
weasel:/home/mark# exim -bt foo@???
foo@??? cannot be resolved at this time:
<foo@???> - error in alias file
/usr/exim/virtual/db/aliases.vom.tm.db: missing or malformed local
part (expected word or "<") in "fail: "Nothing here, move along""
I've found the solution,
--[ aliasfile ]--
*: :fail: Nothing here, move along
--[ aliasfile ]--
and everything is fluffy again, is this a known change or has
something odd happened?
