[EXIM] procmail call from .forward in exim

My .forward file had the following:

|/usr/bin/procmail


and all was well, then I changed it to:

#Exim filter
|/usr/bin/procmail

and I get error messages about syntax

How should I call procmail from an exim-style .forward?
