Greetings,
One of the domains we are hosting requires that a specfic group be able to
modify and rebuild the alias files. The problem is, when I make the files
664, I get the following error from exim when trying to deliver:
directing info@???
calling virtual_aliases director
virtual_aliases director: dbm key=info
file="/usr/exim/domains/linux.bc.ca/aliases.db"
search_open: dbm "/usr/exim/domains/linux.bc.ca/aliases.db"
LOG: 0 MAIN PANIC
virtual_aliases director: /usr/exim/domains/linux.bc.ca/aliases.db (dbm
lookup): wrong mode
virtual_aliases director: error for info
message: /usr/exim/domains/linux.bc.ca/aliases.db (dbm lookup): wrong mode
post-process info@???
Is there any reason why a .db file can't be group writable?
Wondering,
Jared Proudfoot
